Jakarta, June 3 -- The Attorney General's Office (AGO) arrested former head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana following a search at the agency's headquarters in Central Jakarta on Wednesday morning.

ANTARA observed that Hindayana, previously tasked with overseeing the government's flagship Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, was escorted out of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes building in Jakarta at 5:11 p.m. local time, wearing a pink detainee vest.

The ex-BGN chief was led to a detention vehicle in silence, refusing to respond to reporters calling his name.
