Jakarta, April 29 -- Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni affirmed transparency and accountability in carbon trading after issuing Ministerial Regulation Number 6/2026 concerning Procedures for Carbon Trading Through Greenhouse Gas Emission Offsets in the Forestry Sector.

"Through the regulation, the government, specifically the Forestry Ministry, is presenting a clearer, more transparent, and more trustworthy regulatory framework to support carbon trading in the forestry sector for businesses, communities, and global partners," Antoni said in Jakarta, Wednesday.
