Jakarta, April 29 -- Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni emphasized that forestry carbon trading in Indonesia must uphold the values of openness and inclusivity.

"Based on the President's (Prabowo Subianto) order, this carbon trading is inclusive and open, not only to the private sector but also involves the community, with the ultimate goal of preserving forests and improving public welfare," Antoni said in a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday.

This value, he continued, is mandated by Presidential Regulation No. 110 of 2025 concerning the Implementation of Carbon Economic Value Instruments and National Greenhouse Gas Emission Control.
