Jakarta, Sept. 21 -- Foreign Minister Sugiono has arrived in New York, the United States, as head of Indonesia's delegation to this week's 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

According to Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela, in a statement to ANTARA in Jakarta, Sugiono, who arrived in New York on Monday local time, is scheduled to deliver Indonesia's national statement at the UNGA General Debate session on Saturday (September 26) evening.

The national statement will convey Indonesia's views and positions on various global developments and challenges, while affirming the country's commitment to multilateralism, consensus amid global challenges, and the interests of developing nations.
