Jakarta, June 26 -- Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa revealed plans to form special teams tasked with overseeing the use of funds under the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program across Indonesia in support of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).

He emphasized that the Ministry of Finance intends to mobilize officials from the Directorate General of Treasury and the Directorate General of State Assets stationed in all districts and cities nationwide to step up budget monitoring.

"In short, oversight will be more structured because my office will take part in this task; the BGN will not work alone. There will be no collusion between us," Purbaya told the press in Jakarta on Friday.
