Jakarta, June 30 -- Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) underscored that the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) will help foster more inclusive and sustainable development in Indonesia.

"Beyond reducing carbon emissions, adopting electric vehicles improves air quality and public health while supporting more inclusive and sustainable development," the minister said in a joint statement with Grab Indonesia in Jakarta on Tuesday.
