Education ministry, police expand AI literacy training for students
Jakarta, July 22 -- Indonesia's Education Ministry and National Police are expanding cooperation to promote AI literacy among students through preventive education, seeking to improve digital skills while encouraging safe and responsible technology use.
The commitment was formalized Wednesday in Jakarta through an agreement establishing a framework for Training of Trainers (ToT) under the "Paham AI" (AI Literacy) program.
Tatang Muttaqin, the ministry's director general for secondary and special education, said rapid digital transformation was reshaping how people think.
