Jakarta, May 2 -- The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has designated the deep learning approach as a priority initiative to advance education's core mission of nurturing human potential.

This was highlighted by Primary and Secondary Education Minister Abdul Mu'ti during the commemoration ceremony of the National Education Day in Banyuwangi District, East Java, on Saturday.

"As the popular adage goes: To advance a nation, one must improve its education; and to improve education, one must start in the classroom. Deep learning is the effort intended to achieve the ideal goals of national education," he asserted in a statement.
