DSI identifies $5B in potential state revenue: Prabowo
Jakarta, Aug. 14 -- President Prabowo Subianto said on Friday that PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI) had identified potential additional state revenue of US$5 billion through monitoring exports of strategic commodities over a period of just more than two months.
Speaking at a joint parliamentary session ahead of Indonesia's Independence Day, Prabowo said DSI had monitored more than 6,000 export transactions involving three strategic commodities: coal, palm oil and ferroalloys.
"DSI has identified potential additional revenue of US$5 billion simply from price differences and adjustments," Prabowo said.
