Khartoum, July 1 -- China has guided the country along a development path tailored to its national conditions, providing "an important reference for developing countries seeking independent development paths," said former Sudanese foreign minister, Ali Yousif Ahmed.

China, under The Communist Party of China (CPC) leadership, has achieved rapid economic growth and long-term social stability, Yousif told Xinhua recently in a written interview.

"Seeking truth from facts is the fundamental ideological basis of the Party(CPC)'s governance experience," he said, adding that China does not replicate foreign models, but instead grounds its policies in national realities, testing reforms on a pilot basis before broader implementation.
