Jakarta, Sept. 2 -- Destry Damayanti was officially inaugurated as Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) for the 2026-2031 term after taking her oath of office before Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Sunarto in Jakarta on Wednesday.

On the same occasion, Aida S. Budiman also took the oath of office as Senior Deputy Governor of BI for the 2026-2031 term, and Solikin M. Juhro as Deputy Governor of BI for the same term.

The inauguration was conducted in accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 92/P of 2026 on the Dismissal and Appointment of members of the Board of Governors of Bank Indonesia, dated September 1, 2026.
