Indonesia, May 2 -- Deputy Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Fajar Riza Ul Haq called for Central Kalimantan schools to produce successors with intelligence and strong ecological awareness.

"For Central Kalimantan, this role is becoming increasingly strategic. The region is not only a center of growth, but also a guardian of ecosystems that are vital for the sustainability of Indonesia's environment, and even the world," he said on Saturday

He noted that the ministry aims to strengthen students' character by creating school environments that are safe, healthy, and pleasant.

The deputy minister emphasized that schools must become spaces that humanize where children feel safe to grow, learn and pursue their dreams.
