Mecca, June 1 -- Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Romo Muhammad Syafi'i expressed optimism that Indonesia's Hajj operations will continue to improve in the coming years, following significant enhancements across various service sectors for Indonesian pilgrims this year.

"I am confident that Hajj operations will continue to improve in the future. What was achieved in 2026 will serve as a foundation for even greater improvements in the years ahead," he said in a statement on Sunday.
