Jakarta, Aug. 30 -- Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Stella Christie has called on university students across Indonesia to prepare for the era of green jobs in the country.

In a statement issued in Jakarta on Sunday, Stella said that green jobs require strong cognitive abilities. Therefore, young people need to adapt quickly, supported by formal education and technical skills.

To support this, she urged higher education institutions to instill a research mindset as a core foundation.

"Having a research mindset does not mean you will become a researcher. It means being able to ask the right questions and answer them systematically using data and logic," she added.
