Deputy FM boosts RI-Islamic world economic ties in Kyrgyzstan
Jakarta, July 3 -- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Anis Matta promoted stronger economic cooperation between Indonesia and Islamic countries during his visit to Kyrgyzstan from July 1-3, 2026.
During the visit, Matta held a series of meetings with Kyrgyzstan's foreign minister and deputy foreign minister, deputy minister of economy and trade, and deputy head of its National Investment Agency.
"As with working visits to other friendly countries in the region, one of the deputy foreign minister's main priorities is to optimize economic relations with countries across the Islamic world," Indonesia's Foreign Ministry stated in a written statement here on Friday.
