Jakarta, July 27 -- Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani said the state-owned investment agency is preparing a programme called Danantara Housing to help market houses and apartments built by state-owned enterprises (SOEs) that have yet to be absorbed by the market.

Roeslani explained that under the scheme, the public would be able to purchase unsold properties with more competitive interest rates and more affordable payment schemes.

"There are several apartments or houses that have been built by SOEs but have not yet been sold. We will launch Danantara Housing," Roeslani said at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Monday.
