Danantara acquires four asset managers with US$10.5 bln AUM
Jakarta, July 23 -- State-owned investment holding group Danantara Indonesia officially signed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire four state-owned investment management companies, marking the beginning of a major consolidation within the national capital market industry.
The transaction, executed through subsidiary PT Danantara Asset Management (DAM), transfers control of PT Mandiri Manajemen Investasi (MMI), PT BRI Manajemen Investasi (BRI MI), PT BNI Asset Management (BNI AM), and PT PNM Investment Management (PNM IM).
As of June 2026, the four state-backed entities recorded combined assets under management (AUM) exceeding Rp170 trillion (US$10.5 billion).
