Jakarta, March 2 -- Culture Minister Fadli Zon emphasized that culture must shape Indonesia's present and future, serving as a strategic force through the cultural and creative industry (CCI) and an intellectual property-based economy.

"Culture is both a strategic resource and a form of soft power diplomacy. In the cultural field, we have a very solid foundation," Zon said in a statement received on Monday.
