Jakarta, July 30 -- Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar said the creative trip concept offers a new approach that regional governments can adopt to strengthen local creative economies by providing authentic experiences that connect visitors directly with local communities while generating greater economic value.

"A creative trip adds value because it encourages people to come, learn about, understand, and ultimately appreciate a destination," Irene said in a statement received on Thursday.
