Jakarta, April 7 -- Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo said that the Community-Based Infrastructure (IBM) program directly benefits the lowest-income communities.
"We all agree that Community-Based Infrastructure directly reaches the most underprivileged communities," he said during a working meeting with the parliament here on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Public Works is consolidating its budget to ensure IBM funding is not reduced, allocating Rp5.48 trillion (around US$321.1 million) for IBM. With the Rp5.48 trillion allocation, the 2026 IBM program targets 15,364 locations.
