Jakarta, June 16 -- Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya met with Indian Ambassador to Indonesia Shri Sandeep Chakravorty to discuss developments in bilateral cooperation while advancing preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's forthcoming visit.

Indonesia's Cabinet Secretariat noted in a social media post that the meeting took place at its office in Jakarta on Tuesday.

"During the meeting, Ambassador Chakravorty specifically requested time to convey several points regarding developments in cooperation between Indonesia and India," the secretariat stated.

He noted that Indonesia is home to more than 150,000 Indian diaspora members.
