Jakarta, March 13 -- The Class I Non-TPI Immigration Office in Central Jakarta arrested a Pakistani national with the initials NUD (28) for violating his stay permit and suspected involvement in a fake-passport syndicate.

The Head of the Central Jakarta Immigration Office, Muhammad Iqbal, on Thursday (March 12), detailed that the case stemmed from suspicions raised by Soekarno-Hatta Airport Customs and Excise, where they discovered a package containing three Ukrainian and Pakistani passports.

"The recipient of the package containing the fake passports was located in an apartment in Central Jakarta, so we conducted the investigation," he continued.
