Kota Bandung, June 8 -- State-owned logistics company Bulog's West Java Regional Office has procured 590,000 tons of harvested grain equivalent to rice as of early June 2026, or approximately 70 percent of its 700,000-ton procurement target for this year.

Head of Bulog West Java, Nurman Susilo, said the achievement reflects strong agricultural productivity in the province and helps strengthen the government's food reserves.

"Because we have abundant stocks, we are now helping meet demand from other provinces such as North Sumatra, Riau, Jambi, Bengkulu, and West Kalimantan," he said in Bandung on Monday.
