Bulog sends 1,321 tons of rice to quake-hit NTT
Jakarta, Sept. 2 -- Indonesia's state-owned logistics company Bulog has distributed 1,321.55 tons of rice and 7,000 liters of cooking oil to communities affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) as of September 1, 2026.
"Bulog is continuing to strengthen its humanitarian aid for communities affected by the earthquake in NTT," Bulog President Director Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani said at a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday to update on food stocks in disaster-hit areas.
The rice assistance is sourced from the government rice reserve (CBP), local government food reserves, and the national food assistance program.
