Jakarta, Sept. 21 -- The State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN) has expressed appreciation to state logistics agency Bulog for its performance in safeguarding national food security.

"BP BUMN appreciates the hard work of everyone at Bulog. This near-100 percent absorption achievement shows Bulog's commitment to standing by farmers," Director of Public Corporation Management at BP BUMN, M Khoerur Roziqin, said in a statement received here on Monday.

Bulog's mandate covers the entire upstream-to-downstream process to ensure the availability and stability of national food supplies throughout the year.
