Jakarta, June 29 -- State logistics agency Perum Bulog has prepared 200,000 tons of premium rice for export to several countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

"We currently have around 200,000 tons of five percent premium rice on standby. If urgent requests are needed, we can ship it immediately," Bulog President Director Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani stated at the agency's warehouse for the Jakarta and Banten Regional office here on Monday.

Rizal noted that Indonesia's export plan includes shipping 200,000 tons of rice to Malaysia, 10,000 tons to Singapore, and 50,000 tons per month to the UAE.
