Jakarta, Feb. 26 -- Head of Indonesia's National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Arif Satria on Thursday urged industry partners to leverage domestic research outcomes to boost innovation and accelerate downstreaming.
Speaking at the BRIN Goes to Industry event, Satria highlighted the private sector's critical role in advancing national innovation.
"The private sector, as market players, understands current needs, efficiency, economic feasibility, and financial viability," he said.
He noted that some potential investors avoid domestic firms because products lack technological validation for commercialization.
