Jakarta, June 4 -- The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is promoting science-based regional development in Indonesia through the Innovation Village initiative.

A researcher at BRIN's Political Research Center, Siti Zuhro, explained that the concept is designed as an integrated development model driven by science, technology, social innovation, and community empowerment.

Speaking at the "BRIN Goes to Village" event in Jakarta on Thursday, she emphasized that the core vision of the project is to strengthen civilizational values, which must begin with human resource development rather than merely polishing infrastructure.
