BRIN proposes three-track innovation strategy for Indonesia
Jakarta, Aug. 6 -- Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Arif Satria on Thursday outlined a three-track strategy to help Indonesia boost its economy and usher in its aspired golden centennial year of 2045.
Leading a delegation of 150 BRIN researchers at a meeting with President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace in Jakarta, he said the first track focuses on innovations to enhance the productivity and competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises.
On the second track, Satria emphasized the importance of intensifying research and innovation to bolster national industries and strengthen Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund, Danantara.
