Jakarta, July 18 -- The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is preparing 177 research topics to support the formulation of national policies.

BRIN Head Arif Satria said in a press release received here on Saturday that the research projects are scheduled to be carried out in 2026.

The topics were compiled through a forum involving ministry secretaries-general to identify research needs in support of policy formulation.

"In 2026, we have prepared 177 policy research topics. These topics were identified through a forum involving all ministry secretaries-general, who conveyed their research needs. As a result, the policy research we conduct is based on the needs of the ministries," he said.
