Jakarta, Sept. 13 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said the critical minerals and energy resources held by BRICS countries are key assets in building a green century amid climate change challenges.

In a statement at the open session of the BRICS Summit at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India, on Sunday, Prabowo also highlighted Indonesia's wealth of resources needed by the world.

"The BRICS countries are in similar position.Together we have significant critical mineral and energy sources. We have resources as the foundation of the green century," Prabowo said.
