Jakarta, May 12 -- The Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) Indonesia, signed a grant agreement worth US$997,853 to strengthen strategic cooperation in the national health system.
"In the 2026-2027 Biennium, the agreed grant value reached US$997,853, or around Rp17 billion. The support will be utilized for the implementation of 63 activities across BPOM work units, including standardization, supervision, and laboratory units," BPOM Head Taruna Ikrar stated here on Tuesday.
He explained that the cooperation is a continuation of the partnership between BPOM and WHO Indonesia that has been ongoing since 2020.
