Jakarta, March 23 -- The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) has confirmed that national fuel stocks remain secure and are more than sufficient to meet the surge in demand during the upcoming Eid al-Fitr return travel peak.
"Ahead of the return rush, BPH Migas reiterates that national fuel inventories are in a very safe condition," BPH Migas Committee Member Fathul Nugroho said on Monday.
Nugroho urged the public to remain calm and avoid panic buying. He also advised travelers in need of emergency fuel during their journey to utilize the Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) by calling 135.
As of March 22, national fuel resilience for both subsidized and non-subsidized products remained stable.
