Jakarta, April 2 -- The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has issued warnings to 2,100 Nutritional Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) and suspended several others to continuously improve the service quality of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program.
BGN Head Dadan Hindayana said in Jakarta on Thursday that this move was taken as a supervisory measure to ensure service standards are consistently met.
"A total of 2,100 SPPGs have been issued warnings, while 1,789 others have had their operations suspended. Most of the suspensions are enforced because these units have not yet registered for Hygiene and Sanitation Fitness Certificates (SLHS)," he explained.
