Jakarta, March 6 -- Indonesia's National Nutrition Agency (BGN) dismissed the head of an SPPG, or kitchen serving under the Free Nutritious Meals program, in East Lampung District, Lampung Province, over alleged sexual abuse of a child.

Stressing child protection, BGN Deputy Head Sudaryati Deyang emphasized that the agency swiftly responded to a report of the case and confirmed that the suspect had been placed in police custody for investigation.

"The BGN promptly decided to discharge the individual from their position as SPPG leader. We give zero tolerance for unlawful and inhumane acts," she remarked in Jakarta on Friday.
