Jakarta, July 22 -- Belarusian Ambassador to Indonesia Raman Ramanouski expressed hope,Tuesday, that the two nations can soon establish direct flights to facilitate travel, following Indonesia's recent implementation of a reciprocal visa-free entry policy for Belarusian citizens.

Ramanouski emphasized that air connectivity is a key area of cooperation that tourism sectors in both countries must leverage to boost two-way travel.

"We look forward to opening direct flights between Belarus and Indonesia. Of course, it will require some time and effort, but we will work on it," Ramanouski told reporters at the Belarus Pavilion during the Food & Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) 2026 expo in Jakarta.
