Jakarta, April 18 -- The National Food Agency (Bapanas) ensures the availability of soybean supplies for tofu and tempeh producers to maintain business continuity and product affordability.

"Our national soybean stock is sufficient to fulfill national needs especially for the production of tofu and tempeh," the Principal Secretary of Bapanas Sarwo Edhy confirmed in a statement on Saturday.

He stated that soybean supplies from both imported and domestic sources are projected to remain at a safe level until the end of April 2026.

The government is constantly monitoring the adequacy of supplies as more than 90 percent of national soybean needs come from tofu and tempeh producers.
