Jakarta, March 5 -- Indonesia's tourism ministry says Bali's tourism sector has remained stable in recent weeks, despite global geopolitical tensions including the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

"We are monitoring the global situation very closely. However, field data shows that Bali's tourism performance over the last few weeks remains stable, with hotel occupancy rates holding steady," Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana said in a statement on Thursday.

She added that the figures indicate Bali remains a trusted and popular destination for international travelers.
