Denpasar, Bali, Feb. 27 -- The Bali Regional Police have named six foreign nationals as suspects in the alleged kidnapping of Ukrainian citizen Ihor Komarav, 28, who was reported missing on February 15.

Police spokesman Senior Commissioner Ariasandy said the suspects were identified after officers arrested a foreign national, CH, who attempted to flee to West Nusa Tenggara.

CH is accused of helping rent vehicles for the group using a fake passport.

"Following CH's arrest, we named six other foreign nationals-RM, BK, AS, VN, SM, and DH-as suspects. All are male," Ariasandy confirmed Friday.

The case began when Komarav's friend reported the alleged abduction to police after escaping an attack during a motorcycle outing in South Kuta.
