Denpasar, Bali, Feb. 24 -- Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued alerts ranging from "watch" to "warning" for moderate to extreme rainfall across Bali from Feb. 24 to Feb. 26, 2026, officials said on Tuesday.

Putu Agus Dedy Permana, a forecaster at BMKG Regional Office III in Denpasar, said the agency applies three alert levels: watch for moderate to heavy rain, standby for heavy to very heavy rain, and warning for very heavy to extreme rain.

On Tuesday, warning-level rain is forecast in the districts of Badung, Tabanan, Gianyar, Klungkung, and Karangasem, as well as Denpasar City.

Standby-level conditions are expected in Jembrana, Bangli, and Buleleng.
