Bali Customs foils 10.1 kg marijuana smuggling attempt
Badung, Bali, Aug. 7 -- Ngurah Rai Customs in Bali has thwarted an alleged attempt to smuggle 10.1 kilograms of marijuana into Indonesia after arresting two Indian nationals at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, where they allegedly posed as a family traveling together to avoid suspicion.
Head of the Ngurah Rai Customs and Excise Office Wawan Darmawan said in Kuta, Badung District, on Friday that the two suspects identified by initials as AR (28) and PC (31) were detained after Customs officers became suspicious of their luggage upon their arrival in Bali on Monday (Aug 3).
