Jakarta, Sept. 15 -- Head of the Government Communications Agency (Bakom) Muhammad Qodari said on Tuesday he was optimistic newly appointed Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara will be able to keep Indonesia's economy growing while maintaining stability.

Qodari said Nazara's key strength was his ability to balance economic growth and stability, backed by his strong academic credentials and government experience.

"We are very confident that Mr. Suahasil will be very successful in carrying out his duties as finance minister," Qodari said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.
