Authority reopens Mt. Rinjani's Senaru hiking trail after land fire
Indonesia, Oct. 3 -- The Mount Rinjani National Park (TNGR) Office in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) announced the reopening of the Senaru hiking trail to Mount Rinjani after being temporarily closed due to forest fires.
The Head of the Administration Sub-Division of the TNGR Office, Astekita Ardiarsito, in Mataram on Saturday informed that after undergoing a process of extinguishing the forest fires and conducting an evaluation and assessment with stakeholders, the Senaru hiking trail in Mount Rinjani National Park has been declared open for reopening.
"The Senaru hiking trail will reopen starting October 3, 2026," he confirmed.
