Jakarta, Aug. 11 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto urged Indonesian MSMEs to boost production and market retention, while proposing to raise national small-business financing to Rp2,000 trillion (US$112.36 billion).

Speaking at the 2026 MSME Finance Summit in Jakarta on Tuesday, Airlangga emphasized the need to raise the funding target from its current level of approximately Rp1,500 trillion (US$84.27 billion) to bridge the financing gap for growing enterprises.
