AI success in public services measured by real impact: Deputy Minister
Jakarta, Sept. 16 -- Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria said the government measures the success of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption in public services based on improved service quality and its benefits for the public.
"The measure of success is better service, better decisions, fairer access, and greater dignity in how the public interacts with the state," Patria said at the AI Incubation for Public Sector Demo Day 2026 event here on Tuesday.
Patria said the application of AI-based solutions can help simplify and improve the efficiency of public service delivery in Indonesia, a country with many islands and regions with differing needs.
