Banda Aceh, Aceh, Sept. 27 -- The Iskandar Muda Military Regional Command unrolled an 81-meter national flag during a parade in Banda Aceh on Sunday to mark the TNI's upcoming 81st anniversary.

"This event strengthens national unity, patriotism, and love for the homeland while deepening ties between the armed forces and the public," Iskandar Muda Military Regional Commander Major General Joko Hadi Susilo said here Sunday.

Students, motorcycle taxi drivers, and residents joined military personnel in the parade, marching through Banda Aceh, the capital of Aceh Province.
