Jakarta, July 16 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto stated that the realization of the Abadi Masela Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) National Strategic Project (PSN) will assist the country's national development and industrialization.

"This project entails a massive investment of US$20.9 billion, nearly US$21 billion. The facility will produce over 9 million tons of gas condensate and other products, which will greatly assist development in Indonesia," Prabowo stated.

While officiating the project's groundbreaking virtually from Merdeka Palace, here, on Thursday, he noted that Indonesia requires an adequate energy supply to accelerate economic transformation through downstreaming and industrialization.
