Jakarta, April 7 -- Deputy Chair of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Lestari Mordijat said that the transformation of Dana Indonesiana into Dana IndonesiaRaya endowment fund for culture is a strategic move to strengthen the national cultural ecosystem.

She said the program reflects the government's commitment not only to provide funding but also to build adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable governance in the national cultural sector.

"Appreciation for the launch of the Dana IndonesiaRaya program," she said in a statement here on Tuesday.

According to data from the Ministry of Culture, the number of beneficiaries increased from 346 in 2024 to 2,117 in 2025 out of around 7,000 proposals received.
