Chad, Oct. 6 -- From Sept. 23 to 25, Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to the United States at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump. The visit reinforced longstanding friendship, expanded areas of mutual cooperation, and advanced the shared prosperity of both countries' peoples.
