India, Sept. 7 -- Delhi Police on Monday apprehended Hariram, the owner of the five-storey building that collapsed in Delhi's Satya Niketan area, from Bhiwadi in Rajasthan following a multi-state search involving 10 police teams.

Hariram had remained untraceable since the building, which housed a paying guest (PG) accommodation near Delhi University's South Campus, collapsed on Sunday. Police had earlier issued a Look Out Circular against him and launched searches at multiple locations.

The building owner is now being questioned as part of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collapse.
